AndrewC: Guys, I am going to do an interview with Brendon Chung, the developer of FLOTILLA so if you have any questions you'd like me to forward to him please let me know. I'll be conducting this interview tomorrow at noon and I'll post the link to it here when it's done.

Ask if he has any plans to switch from the xbox indie games to full arcade games. I'd like to play it on console (its a matter of playing with a specific mate who only has a 360) but australia gets screwed out of the indie games channel.

Will do
Just emailed the questions; waiting for the answers and after that it's either another short round of questions to clarify things or straight to publishing.
Will keep you guys up to date.
If you do not mind would you also see if All their games are DRM free, please?

Ralackk: This looks cool and probably the closest I'll get to a battlefleet gothic pc game so I'll probably have to buy it.

Any good at programming? We could get the licence and DIY one...

Asked about his views on DRM in general and made a mention to Flotilla but will ask this in the follow up session.

Thanks. If I was thinking I would have asked this when I wrote and asked about DRM in Flotilla. It is nice to know that there will be no DRM in the game.
Why all the dislike of the Red and Blue ships? I rather like it... it gives it a more abstract feel like darwinia or something.
Textures would make it look just like every other space game out there...
Looks interesting.. I will keep this on my watch-list.
One funny thing i noticed is that while he said it will be available for pc and xbox360 the video showed an amiga 500 besides the xbox.
What i don't like was the piano music playing in the background. I hope that the music in the final game will be different and more futuristic than that.

I like it. It makes it feel like you're conducting a symphony... OF RAINING DEATH!
Regarding the option to make ships upside down, Brendon said in a comment on RPS that it is possible so that means that you can have the higher armor which is on top facing down.

I like that as well, it keeps things clean, simple and visible. Also, it would take longer to develop the game otherwise and the minimum system requirements would be higher.

The Amiga 500 is a joke :D
Regarding the music (and visual style), we need to keep in mind that this is a one man development studio and he's the only one doing everything on the game.

Unfortunatly not and even if I was we would have to siege Gamesworkshop HQ and force them to allow us to use their IP. I've dabbled in modelling and animation though, but I'm far from comptent enough to do anything professional with it.

Ahh cool, I was afriad you would be racing each other on a downward spiral trying to hit the bottom armour.

tb87670: Any news from the interview?

Still waiting; the questions were decent in number so that's why it's taking so long. Will wait until Friday and send him the rest I got and see what's up with the previous ones.

Gotya, didn't want to let this one slide into the darkness on the forums here.
