I want some typing games.
Namely typing of the dead.
I was reading through some old PC Magazines and I found the review of "The Typing of the Dead". And boy oh boy I have never wanted to train my typing skills more than when I laid my eyes on that review.
Admittedly my words per minute never goes above forty five, and sure I could type more to get that up, but honestly, writing things that matter?
I want to write things that are just as meaningless as the zombies that need to be shot.
GOG, if your out there, typing games please, and THE TYPING OF THE DEAD!

wasnt typing of the dead designed for the dreamcast and its keyboard?

Yes, it was. The PC version was pretty much a straight-from-console port, but it worked pretty well because it was ported from a console with a keyboard :)
Edit: If I remember correctly, the characters in the PC version were still shown sporting Dreamcasts on their backs, and wielding wired keyboards instead of guns.

Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing.
That's right. I went there.

Mmm I LOVED it. And there's that Popcap game, Typer Shark. That's good too.
A couple of years ago I played Typing of the dead on gametap -I enjoyed it immensely. I hope it becomes available on gog.com. Don't know if it is still on gametap or not.
Typing of the Dead is amazing.
Typing of the Dead is fun, and I wouldn't mind if GOG (and Empire Interactive) decides to bring it here. :)
I would pay for this game.
Well, there's Typer Shark! Deluxe on Steam. Charging $9.99 for one of Popcaps earliest and least impressive titles is highway robbery at noon though.

In HK Typer Shark is $3 US on Popcap's site. That's about right.

Not as much as if you want to buy it off Popcap's own shop. I get prices in my local currency, and that's 145dkk = $26,28. I can't imagine that their webshop does a brisk business.

Talk about regional pricing...

Flash typing. Lots of shooting. :)
Well that is at least 10 potential customers.
The business opportunity is undeniable.
I found a copy of Typing of the Dead in an old bookshop last week, for about $2.
I was very happy.
Then I noticed it was for mac...
I was very sad.
In the meantime, I played this for a while last year and enjoyed it:

Oh, and this was fun for a while too, but i didn't spend enough time on it to get into the details:

In Crimsonland, when you finish the game you unlock a typing game-mode.
