Delixe: You know those torrents you are so fond of? I can't use them. The Irish government has blocked both the pirate bay and all connections that connect to Bit-Torrent clients are throttled. You know that MTX client that Mechwarrior 4 uses? Yeah I can't use that. In less than a month a new vote goes before our government giving Media companies the right to examine our private internet use. It's assumed Cowan will allow it.
You were saying?

The Pirate Bay? We got it blocked.
Traffic Throttling? We got it, and now I discovered myself that Telecom Italia Net (the largest Italian provider and for instance mine too) is starting to "manage" the P2P traffic too.
And regarding restrictive laws (for Internet, the media, the free press), the Italian politicians are so active on this front I won't even start listing them....

Do you have an opposition? We don't. Let me just break it down for the English here.
Fianna Fáil - Conservative
Fine Gael - Conservative
Green - Conservative
Sinn Féin - Conservative
Basically no matter what we vote for we get the same thing. Blackguards are everywhere in our country. Can't change things by voting as the new party would do exactly the same things. There is no Democracy in Ireland, it's a Monarchy something every Irish person has fought against all their lives.

Hello there, fellow Yes Minster fan.
I for one am in support for the Condems.
I just hope you Brits won't vote for another Blair.
Then again, we Germans aren't any better, are we?

Yes, but it's like we don't have any one. The so called Italian opposition is accountable for having let Berlusconi seize the country. For the most part they are fucking morons, criminals or stupid at best...
Does it *really* matter who anyone votes for in the long run? I mean regardless of which party is in control, you'll still going to get the same result: lack of living up to election promises and a government out to screw you as best they can.
[Note: This post is not entirely serious.]
