Agreed. If even half as much thought and creativity has been put into the game then it should be good.

Deus Ex 3 really is being made by Eidos Montreal (They also did Batman Arkham)

They weren't being serious. :P Anyway, Eidos part owned Rocksteady, who made it. But there's no link between Arkham and Deus Ex 3 besides money. Now even that link is severed as Time Warner bought Rocksteady.

I couldn't care less about any new Portal game (not to say taht I didn't enjoy the fuck out of the first one, greatest game in a long time) but I really just want HL2: Episode 3 at this point. I don't care for any L4D release, I couldn't care less about Team Fortress or anything related, I just want Episode 3. Please, Valve, I beg you as an unemployed white gamer freak, just give me the sweet release of Episode 3! Please!

Maybe they're going to release Green Box, with Portal 2 and Episode 3 in it? No. Too much to hope for. Would be good though.

They're three years behind schedule with Ep3. They've really got to get that released before the embarrassment consumes them.

Double agreed. I do like their games, the whole HL2 dystopian setting sucked me into it, but as a game I was greatly disappointed with EP1, and EP2 was good, a lot better than the previous but still it isn't perfect as the fanboys see it. But maybe it is just me, I've expected too much even from the first HL.
The marketing is perfect, though. They learned to not to leak much before as they did with EP1 and 2, which you could know bits just watching the trailers.

When someone asked a Valve high-up guy (I think it was Gabe...) around E3ish time when everyone was incredibly disappointed by L4D2 about Ep 3, he said they were going to do something amazing.
The amount of work put into this is very substantial. I'm fairly certain this is the Ep 3 and Portal 2 announcement.

Contrary to what they claim, you can use a save game to get the new ending; just make sure it's not from the last map. The threshold is in the middle of the "sewers" right before the massive room with the turrets in alcoves.

Last week I was sending Valve an email. Just for the lulz I wrote them, they should finally release Episode 3 of HL 2 because everyone is fucking tired of waiting.
