As a brand new game, and a diablo clone on top of that, many people would be seriously tempted to both buy and play it. Alas, it seems to be only for Steam, and Humble Bundle (and steam again). While they misleadingly say that Humble Bundle version will be DRM-Free. The helluva lie is that? All Humble Bundle titles need steam, and everyone knows steam=DRM, and one of the worst types of it, actually...

So, is it going to be sold here? Will GoG get it? And even if not, will a genuinely DRM version of it, be available for purchase?

Bonus question... Anyone who preordered it, played its alpha, and cares enough to say if it is good sport, interesting, worthwhile, or not?
Another Diablo clone? big feckin deal, add it to the list of 100 of them from the past year.

That's not true and a matter of opinion.
I have several Humble Bundle/Humble Store games that are DRM-free and not every game on Steam uses Steam's DRM and even when they do I personally don't think it's the worst DRM out there.
For example, the DRM Squeenix put on the Final Fantasy titles they released for PC was a lot worse (don't know about the current state).

You're talking to someone who does not care. This fellow complains about Steam in nearly every post.

I know and I usually never reply, but every once in a while fanaticism gets annoying.

I thought I was the only one getting fed up of it lol. Better run before we get hunted down and killed.

They gave early acess steam keys to KS backers at the end of last year when it only had act 1 to play. I played it for abit during the holidays and enjoyed it. Havent touched it since, waiting for the full release.
As for all Humble titles requiring steam, thats bs, i dont have many titles on Humble, but most are drm free plus give a steam key.

You do realize, you are in GOG general discussion? A forum located at the number one store for DRM free games in the world.

Assuming you have any Humble Bundles/Humble Store games bought, have you even looked at your downloads page? Plenty of HBs have had games with no DRM:

https://www.humblebundle.com/home

As for Grim dawn being DRM-free: http://www.grimdawn.com/guide/about/faq.php#q10

"Does Grim Dawn use DRM that TOTALLY screws me over?!
No, you can purchase from our website through Humble Store and then download a DRM-free version from them. You won't have to go online to activate it once you've downloaded it. We only authenticate game-keys when / if you log into a multiplayer match-making service. You can play single player or LAN offline."

and a bit later:

"Your full release key will enable you to download the applicable version of Grim Dawn as soon as it is released."

Did you even try googling for anything? First link when googling "grim dawn gog" has some info:

I wonder if Grim Dawn is like Titan Quest because I found Titan Quest, insanely boring...
Steam isn't so bad as DRM goes for one. For two, not all Humble Bundle games are Steam. You are uneducated and spouting lies.
