anamorphic: I'll also give a shout to Michael Ironside in the Tom Clancy Splinter Cell games. And in the second game, Dennis Haysbert as the team leader, is like playing an episode of 24 or The Unit.
Oh, I forgot about those. Yeah, the guy who does Lambert in all of the other games is pretty good, but Dennis Haysbert was awesome in Pandora Tomorrow. That is actually one of the reasons I like Pandora Tomorrow so much more than the first game and Double Agent (those are the only three I've played). Though of course, Michael Ironside's voice is incredible to listen to as well.
The first company of heroes wowed me with how all the units in the game had great voice acting but also a ton of unique lines in addition to the funny ones that played when you clicked them a bunch of times. A basic rifleman squad has different lines that can play when they are ordered around and what they say changes when they enter combat. It really makes an impression that your leading a group of real soldiers in combat instead of a bunch of expendable units and when that rifleman squad you built at the start of the game that managed to reach maximum veterancy is killed, rather than treating it as an acceptable loss in another RTS it is a heartbreaking experience.

I haven't got the chance to play company of heroes 2 so I don't know if the voice acting is just as good as the original.

Potzato: Ok, now I'm disappointed. No one mentionned Sacrifice (at least Tim Curry is mentionned).
Three posts above yours, mate:

For my defense ..... mmmh.... I'm out of good excuses in fact.
[bad excuse attempt] I suppose you didn't put enough !!!! and didn't use enough capital letters. My eye is weakening :(

Edit: And my caffeine levels were at their lowest, probably.

My favorites were already mentioned:

The Thief Series
Max Payne
Baldur's Gate Series (Although some of them could be quite annoying (I'm looking at you Miss "I care not" Imoen and Mister "stuttering prick" Khalid).

Daedalus1138: Oh, I forgot about those.
One I also forgot was Cutter Slade in Outcast, voiced by David Gasman. Great writing as well with tons of funny one-liners. I reckon everyone on GOG should get into this game.
Currently playing Jagged Alliance and it has pretty good voice acting.
Whole Alpha Protocol had great voice acting that was fantastic in transporting emotions!
Oh, and Drakensang: AfDZ had this too! (german version)
Thief series - Stephen Russel

C&C Tiberian Sun - James Earl Jones and Michael Biehn.
Gah, so many to choose from! I'm going to go with the latest one and say The Walking Dead. Seeing Dave Fennoy crying as he does his last few scenes was a nice insight into just how much emotion good voice actors (along with good directing) put into it.

Fenixp: Pretty much anything by Patrick Stewart.
Oblivion's emperor. The older voiceover for areas in Star Trek Online. Anything, I just love his voice.
That old STO stuff is Leonard Nimoy.

Cormoran: That old STO stuff is Leonard Nimoy.
Huh, I'd swear he was doing VA for STO. Guess I'm mistaking it for something else then.

jepsen1977: Thief series - Stephen Russel
Attn: GOG - If this is not your #1 pick you need to reexamine your priorities.

Others off the top of my head would be Nimoy in Civ4, whoever played Niko in GTA4 and whoever played the pixie elf girl in DA2.
mafia 1 and san andreas
For me i think saints row 4 has the best voice acting.
Blood Omen games.
