Arcanum. It provides just enough intrigue to really hook you, and enough backstory to immerse you into the game's setting. And after you've played the game through at least once, you'll be surprised at just how much foreshadowing went on right under your nose.
Sakura Wars: So Long My Love, hands down. Also the DK Rap from Donkey Kong 64, but that's mostly because that's the first game I ever owned, and the whole "So Bad, it's Good" factor.
