That PC port of TMNT NES is actually unbeatable. They accidentally lowered a ceiling one block too low. That really has no bearing on the discussion, I just think it's an interesting bit of trivia.
There are a few games here I'd buy (Silent Hill 2 would be nice simply because I can't find a copy anywhere else) but I'd survive.

Silent Hill 2 has become nigh impossible to find anymore. You can even find copies of number one floating around used stores but not number 2.

Konami is not as bad as Namco but I still wouldn't trust their games since they're very obviously console ports with little effort to actually port them to PC. "A mouse? What's that?"

Guess we need someone to school Konami.
Hmm maybe someone along the lines of... which was recently respawned.
"No, PC has custom stuff like mouse control, text chat in game, and graphics settings."

Capcom is very good with PC ports lately (though you can argue that Street Fighter IV arcade IS a PC game).

I dunno ... SF4 was good, agreed, but Resident Evil 5 did NOT feel like a PC game at all. The mouse behaviour was all wrong, the controls felt wrong, the whole game felt wrong for a PC game. Resident Evil 4 was the worst port I've ever played, too. They seem to be moving in the right direction but they really need to focus more on making a game feel like it belongs on PC.

But SF4 is a whole specific discussion. They must have invested a lot in this game, thus invested a lot into the PC version.
Is Super SF4 confirmed to be on PC or not, by now?

Haven't played it but maybe the problem is it doesn't feel like Resident Evil. :P
RE4 is definitely one of the worst ports...it was outsourced as were all of their PC titles around that time.
But yeah they're building everything on PC now with the MT Framework engine then porting to consoles, as it should be. Devil May Cry 4 is a fantastic effort on that front.

Rumored. It's also going to be the last SF4 game. :)
Though they may do DLC after that but it sounds like sensible updates.

There is actually rumors that they will announce Marvel vs. Capcom 3 that uses the SF4 engine.

Another reason I want them on GoG:
I can't goddamn find it! Once I see them on amazone or ebay, they are OVER 9000 bucks!
Same goes to SH3

It's funny and sad because people actually buy them for well over 200 hundred bucks. All it takes is one lucky day at a used store. Like I found the Original Fallout in original disk, and both Way of the Samurai games one day. It's just luck really.
