I actually prefer Sun's VirtualBox for VM hosting, seems to have better support for DX clients [at least compared to when I last use VMWare - which was, admittedly, a while ago]

I don't know - don't own Crysis :) [probably not though, the DX implementation is good but not stellar]
It's kinda ashame that XP Virtual Mode can only be install on a Windows 7 Ultimate Edition not on any other Windows 7 which really sucks.

Professional is fine too.

But anyway, for games VMware Player is better.
