There was in a thread someone who mentioned that they have the Wing Commander Series installed on their Windows 7 and it was running good. I have Dosbox and it confuses me on how to set it up to run older games especially Wing Commander I've been missing playing them. Any help would be appriecated on setting them up and slowing them down I run a AMD Athlon(tm) 64 x2 dual core processor 5600 +.
Thanks for any help!

Try D-Fend Reloaded. It's a graphical frontend for DOSBox setup.
Its "wizard" feature can automatically set up many popular games, including the Wing Commander series; you just point it at the game's EXE (or BAT, or whatever it is launched with) and it will do the rest. As for speed it should set that appropriately too.
