snowkatt: yeah i like pink floyd 2 most as well i think most people do

pink floyd 3 ( gilmour ) is okay but lacks what waters led floyd has

and pink floyd 1 ( syd ) is so short
avatar
NowaAnglia: I shudder at that. Didn't they hire out some random lyricists to write their lyrics? That's no band. That's not Pink! That's a charade!
gilmour is the main writer for all those songs but he had help on a few tracks from jon carin
polly sampson
anthony moore
bob ezrin
patrick leonard
phil mazanera

but its not as if they dominate the tracks most of it is gilmour
and int he endless river its actually gilmour and wright

no i meant that pink floyd 2 waters pink floyd had a driving vision and pointed lyrics

to me amused to death is a pink floyd album minus floyd

BlackThorny: I already have the worms bundle but it would be nice to have an extra copy of Worms to send to a friend :)
Is this version of the game working in online multiplayer?
avatar
snowkatt: honestly ? i dont know
i assume it does because worms strongest point is multiplayer

regardless if you want it you just have to say the word
WORD man, word! Worms is the word? :P
It doesn't say anything about online multiplayer on steam though, maybe just a local mp available. Still nice.

I agree. I agree with all the good things, and these are all good things.

I haven't sat down and listened to them for a while. Every so often though, I'll find myself singing songs from Piper to myself. The simplest, catchiest songs come back to me.

Amused to Death, Radio KAOS, Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking - those all feel more like Floyd than the ostensible Floyd.

i havent listend to hitchiking ( i have it on lp somewhere yes lp ) but i found radio kaos to be rather weak

both the 87 offerings amlor and kaos were weak
but amlor is marginally better on the strength of catchier songs ( learning to fly the turning away the dogs of war one slip )

but both 87 offerings are very so so

course you have to keep in mind that i dont like dark side of the moon ;p

i prefer ahm meddle or wish you were here

the tide is turning from radio KAOS is catchy.. the turning away is probably catchier, but why compare? this is not a competition!

i don't know who likes dark side of the moon! of course it's not bad, but it's like it's supposed to be great and you have to like it but i'd rather hear something less obvious or whatever. i like animals and for some reason the final cut. probably listened to the wall too much so the final cut's still fresh, y'know. meddle and wish you were here are great, too, coming out on either side of dsotm no less.

speaking of live
here is a fan dvd culled from 200 videos of peopel in attendance of alive 2007
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXMZsqn9U9U
truley a labor of love

and considering how visual the show is you'd be surprised that there is no official dvd

the reason is this Thomas Bangalter expressed his reasons of not releasing a DVD by stating "the thousands of clips on the internet are better to us than any DVD that could have been released."
they feel that this kind of fan projects are better representations

http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/10925-alive-2007/

so its an unofficial officially endorsed product
so in that spirit here is another one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXMZsqn9U9U
