It's projected late July release date is long gone. That being said, I would rather see GOG take time and get the conversion done right then rush it out the door with major problems.....which GOG has done a couple of time in the past...

Yeah, some bluetext said there were a couple testing rigs they just couldn't get the game running on. They're still working on it, but so far no luck.
This is sad. Carmageddon is really a GOG release I'm looking forward to. I only got to play TDR 2000 (or whatever it was called) and I know that it's nothing compared to the legend that the original Carmageddon is. Will probably be an instabuy for me.
Well, you pretty much said it all in the OP, really. They're doing the right thing in sorting this out. All we can do is hope that it doesn't take much longer (and that when they're done with this they sort out some of the other GOGs that still have problems).
