Ran across these two titles:
World War 2: Road to Victory
World War 2: Time of Wrath
Anyone give me some info that has played them - They look like Panzer General type games and I would love to get them if they are any good. Thanks.

I have no clue what those games are.

Time of Wrath basically is a re-made Road to Victory with a bunch of additions and enhancements. You can find more information on the Matrix Games forums . There should be a demo out there, too...yep, [url=http://timeofwrath.com/index.php?id=6]here it is.
Supposed to be a fairly solid game. Much larger in scope than Panzer General, but not as deeply complicated as something like Hearts of Iron. The same devs are now working on Storm Over the Pacific.

Something more like "Dear internet, through a strange twisted bit of luck I seem to be stuck in the siege of stalingrad, I have only my cell phone a pocket knife and a chocolate bar. Could someone just check what date it ended?"

They are nothing like Panzer General. They are more like Strategic Command, Third Reich, etc.
It's operational level wargame.
One is the sequel of the other.
