Well there was this game I wanna play but can't remember the name of....all I remember is that you had an isometric view or close to it, and played a hero of some sort climbing a tower with red/blue altars/monsters you could get upgrades from along the way, provided you paid for them....and you kept collecting keys(I think) and talking to the altars as you tried to get ever higher in the tower.

Foxhack: Magic Sword?
Sorry, but no. The game plays from a sort of top-down/slanted view, and has lesser graphics....
Mystic Towers ?

Namur: Mystic Towers ?
Checked...no. It was more top down(no raised background walls like in that game) and simpler looking....you climbed a tower where each floor was basically an isomtric board of rooms with simple graphics(some rooms blocked by doors which you needed keys for, some red, and some blue), and I believe(somewhat) that the red/blue altars(monsters) also sold keys with which you could open simialry colored doors as you tried to "beat" the level and get to the room leading to the next level in whatever path you chose(thrugh red doors/blue doors/some of both/etc)

It had graphics slightly the same grade(not exactly vbery similar but near the quality level but a bit better) of games like Paganitzu.
