Uninstall this Galaxy trash, install Heroic Launcher and forgot about problems.

Yes, the problem still is alive and kicking.

Yea it still persists. I just uninstalled the whole app itself, it keeps shutting my whole pc down, the only error I see on my event review is that so hopefully it works. Finger crossed.

On my laptop the problem wasn't there so I don't know what happened in this pc. I thought it was the psu problem so I had to upgrade the psu itself (I do need to upgrade the psu either way but this gave me a reason and an excuse to do so). And then I thought it is the thermal throttling problem so I checked with the stress test which spiked the cpu/gpu to their highest temp but it still ain't shutting down so yea this GOG app itself should be the problem. I mean my pc shut down on a browser with a single tab. It is the worst feeling, this is my first own pc as well so I am rowing through the obstacles and bracing myself.

For more information on my problem, this is the code I was presented in the event viewer.

Is there a fix for this? Keeps crashing Skyrim. (Or is happening at the same time as something else crashes Skyrim.)
I *was* also having the same issues. Yesterday Cyberpunk crashed multiple times and after those GOG Galaxy wouldn't start at all (same errors as others mentioned above). If I was able to run the game (startup was very slow!), it let me know that cloud save option is not available. I checked today and the same version of GOG Galaxy just launched instantly, so I assume that this is a service error and it also affects running games. My impression is that the GOG Galaxy service is tightly coupled with the client and the running game that it cause fatal issues in case of communication error.
the same shit here !

Before playing , Cloud could not sync.

i want to play CP, after just a few minutes seldom hours..

sound error at random spots , game menchanik etc, system is hanging and the hole system shutdown and reboot

I agree. Galaxy doesn't seem like a priority for GOG.

This issue was reported months ago.
It's a Microsoft's fault because that file crash affect many games as well...

The latest v.2.0.81.259 (Preview April 5) finally fixed the "GalaxyClient Helper.exe" crashes (no more crashdump files) on the PC platform.
Not for me, sadly. Oh well, let's wait for another 6 months then.

Hi. I just replied to you in the other thread. I was also experiencing the issue on version 2.0.81.259 initially, so I decided to perform a clean reinstall of the app (starting from version 2.0.80). After that, I enabled the Experimental Features and Updates checkbox in Settings, then closed and relaunched the app with Admin privileges. I repeated the process until it auto-updated to version 2.0.81.259 on launch.

Since following this procedure, I haven’t had any more component crashes or crash-dump files when launching GOG Galaxy.
