I'm not exactly computer savvy but I'm wondering if I can get Neverwinter Nights 2 to run on my computer.

Here is all the dirty info on my comp:

Neverwinter NIghts 2 was released in 2006, and that desktop in 2009, so it's a pretty safe bet that NWN2 will run quite fine on it.

If it plays at all, it will be at a very low frame rate.
It will probably just say could not find any compatible Direct3D devices
NWN2 required a good graphics card in it's day & GMA 3100 Intel integrated graphics weren't meant for gaming.

+1 to this - that HP system can accommodate a PCI-express graphics card though, and should be able to run NWN2 with a semi-decent one (almost anything available currently, but a second-hand Nvidia 8800 series or later with 512+ MB VRAM would be a pretty cheap option).

Edit: a good review of the GMA 3100's capabilities can be found here, NWN2 is more demanding than any of the games tested.
