Alrighty... downloaded the game even though I have a disc. Didn't have an additional CD Key to use along side my hubby. Everything went fine until I realized that the game doesn't open to the beginning 'Play' page so if I wanted to, I can't access the DM Client or Aurora toolset. Also, even after using the 1.69 update, can't tell if it worked because it doesn't go to that initial page.

None of this was a big problem until I tried to login multiplayer and realized that I needed a unique CD Key for online play. Okay, fine. Sent in the requested form on Sunday night (Yesterday) and received a new key this morning. Tried to replace the original one that came with the game. Hmh... doesn't work.

When manually inputting the CD Key, there is a section in the HoTU key that is not compatible. The fourth section is WWWVU according to GOG.com. When trying to put it in, it says there is an invalid character. It automatically converts WWWVU to either WWWV, WWWU, or WWVU, none of which are acceptable.

I tried to reply to the email I got as at the bottom it states, to reopen this ticket, reply to this email. Received mailerdaemon notice that the reply did not go through.

So..

resent another message through my gog account here and opened a whole new ticket. With previous ticket number for reference as well as a copy of the nwncdkey file that was sent in the original email.

Waiting for reply now. Anyone have any ideas?

Natalia will send you the key again in a few minutes - it may have become corrupt when we sent it, or when you received it.

Just to clarify - I'm sure that you tried to enter the keys manually, but did you first try to replace the nwncdkey.ini file with the one we sent you? This may have been what you meant by "tried to replace the original one", but I'd like to make sure. :)

Also, I would strongly suggest uninstalling the game, installing it again and replacing the nwncdkey.ini file before applying any modifications to the game.
