so it starts in a lower resolution but when i try to change it it crashes
iits on full screen mode but still with massive black bars
this is on neverwinter nights 2

Hold down Alt & press Enter to change to windowed mode, change your resolution, and then Alt & Enter to change back to fullscreen.

Thanks, worked for me, too! The game even went into fullscreen mode after changing the resolution, no second Alt+Enter required.
