I play Neverwinter Nights (Diamond Edition) in Windowed mode and am often doing other things while characters are moving about, or during long fights (I play Paladin...not much to do in combat other than swing). The problem is, if the game loses focus, it auto-pauses, forcing you to stay inside the game. Has anyone found a way around this?

In your nwn2player.ini under [Game Options] is a line Pause On Lose Focus=1
Changing the 1 to a 0 might do what you want, but I haven't actually tried it.

I don't see that file listed anywhere under the NWN directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition). Searching for *.ini there, I see the following files: nwconfig.ini and nwhak.ini. I found "nwn.ini" in another directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\GalaxyClient\Games\NWN Diamond), but there's no "[Game Options]" listed there. Thoughts?
That was for NWN2.
I tried it in NWN2 & it worked.
But NWN1 doesn't have an option to disable pause.

I did try adding that line under [Game Options] in the nwnplayer.ini, but it didn't work.

Sorry, I've got nothing.

It shouldn't pause until you actually alt-tab back in, at least not in Full Screen mode. Perhaps try that?
Yeah my game only ever pauses when I alt-tab back in.
Darn. But nope, it pauses as soon as I tab out.
