For most fights you will be absolutely fine, remember you have a party, just send your Fighter to the front and shoot from the back with your main character.
There are a few fights that are preceded by a conversation, annoyingly regardless which character starts the conversation by running into the trigger area, the main character will be teleported into the front which causes all enemies to immediatly focus you.
You can compensate with taunting with a tank or a potion of invisibility.
The other problem are section where you are alone.
The one you referenced might be quite a problem if you go in unprepared. However, potions makes this fight easy regardless of class. Just make sure to stock up before starting the extremely long story section before the fight.
Another problem is the start of MotB, which takes a really long time to make a tank character available to you.
