I have a problem with Neverwinter Night Diamod edition and i would like to ask You if someone know the solution of this.
I have get this edition from free giveaway from GOG and it works great. But I have problem with multiplayer.

One problem - when I am trying to log into internet play I am getting info that there is some problems with connecting and some fuctions of multiplayer can dont work. It makes that I cant see any online games and I cant join any of them.

Second problem - me and my brother have two different copies of NVN on two different GOOG accounts and they have two different serial nymbers (I have checked this). And when we try to play multiplayer od two different PC thre is what is happening. When I start multiplayer local game from example PC1 then PC2 cant see this game and cant join it. But when I will start multiplayer local game from PC2 then PC1 CAN see this game but when we try to join this local game we get info like this "you cant join this game because on this server there is in use your CD serial number" or something like that...

Please help me what is wrong with this or how to fix it to have possibility to play multiplayer by interenet and local game.
I hope that my english isnt so bad that You can understand what i am trying to tell.

Multiplayer works fine. You just have to know the IP number of the server you want to play on, and you put that in under direct connect. I just logged on with my GoG NWN last night and it worked fine. I got onto a NWN server and played some.

I think someone else posted some of the websites that show listings of the NWN servers and their IP numbers that you can direct connect to recently. It's posted on this forum somewhere recently.

Regarding your issue with multiplayer CD Keys / serial numbers, there are fixes for that already posted in other threads on the forum. Go read those and they'll give you solutions to that problem.

There are typically two issues:

CD Keys. You need to double check your
nwncdkey.ini

Make sure all three numbers are different between the installations, and quite possibly different from the default install for both.

Firewall issues:

Software Firewall on your PC, and HW Firewall in your router/bridge.

If you have the proper unique keys, and all the ports open, then you should be able to direct connect.

Ok Thanks a lot with serial numbers - IT WORKS.
But only in local games so we are able to play with my brother.
But the problem with connecting to internet multiplayer games is still on. I mean when I am trying to log to internet games is show me info " Connection to mainserver failed. Some options of multiplayer games may be not active"
And after then i get a list of internet multiplayer games but it is empty. When I click on "connect" I recive info "please try to log or connect under another (different) nickname"
This Is happening when I am trying to log under my known nichname and when i was trying with option "create new account"

Please tell me what is wrong with this multiplayers games and how to fix it.

The problem is you're not supposed to be using the gamespy thing for multiplayer. You're supposed to try to log in, but it will deny you access. When it denies you access, you'll see the empty multiplayer screen. Then you click the "direct connect" button at the bottom of the screen, and type in the IP address of the server you want to play on.

The Gamespy thing doesn't work anymore... you have to direct connect to the server you want to play on.

Here is a list of servers. Click the NWN1 tab at the top to make sure it is showing you NWN1 servers instead of NWN2 servers.

I recommend staying away from the "Sinfar" servers.
