I tried several methods to use the native Linux NWN client, it works but you have a lot of work to do...and it's not perfect:
- premium modules does not work
- you don't have the last update
- no automatic update
- videos needs a workaround to play

The better way for me is to install the windows version with wine and it works near perfectly. It's a pity GOG does not provide Windows games packaged with wine, NWN could benefit of this method.

Actually, some Windows games GOG does provide packaged with WINE. Off hand, I believe Baldur's Gate 2 (Classic Edition) is provided this way.
They don't provide a Wine package, maybe because it's so trivial to setup this game. In my case i just installed directx9_43 and it is working perfectly.
