I want to solo the game with some kind of parry based fighter. I want to use parry skill for melee opposition and regular attacks for mages/archers. What is the best class to do that and is it viable and feasible.

It's been a while since I played NWN 1, but, from what I remember, a Parry-build is not viable.

Parry can only block one attack for each attack you can do per turn. If you are surrounded by enemies, you will suffer much more attacks per turn, than you can dish out yourself. It might work in a 1vs1 fight, but there is another problem:

The counterattack from Parry requires you to keep the skill maxed out at all times, because you need to beat the opposing attack roll by 10+.

In general, you're better off to keep your AC as high as possible, and use your skill points for something more useful.

Thanks for that tip. Because you answered me when no one else would, I give you this bonus, a chance to see one of my meeting and discussions.

Im going to try it anyway with a fighter or ranger, im just not going to rely too much on it for things like you said.

Gaunathor mentioned one of the limitations on parry, but there is a second. You're also limited to parrying a maximum of three attacks from a single foe per round. That means if an enemy gets four or more attacks, some of them completely bypass your parry ability regardless of how good it is. Parry quickly becomes useless past this point.

Parry functions decently in one-on-one fights for 1st level characters who invest in both the improved parry and skill focus (parry) feats. However, the ability is still useless outside of one-on-one fights, against spellcasters, against ranged attackers, or against enemies who have a way to attack more quickly (ie, anything dual-wielding). It also becomes less and less effective as you gain levels.

To top it off, parry is a dexterity-based skill and subject to armor check penalty. If you wear heavy armor, your parry ability will suffer such huge penalties as to be completely non-functional. This means you have to wear leather armor, which will render you exceedingly vulnerable any time your parry fails.

The bottom line is that parry requires a lot of dedication to get it to function correctly, is ineffective in a wide variety of situations, the math only works for low-level characters, and at its best is comparable to just wearing a suit of good armor. It's a cool idea in theory, but in practice it really stinks.
As others have mentioned Parry isn't particularly good in NWN1 (it was improved a bit in NWN2). However, if you're intent on making a parry-based character then you'll want to go with a dex-based fighter: light armor, weapon finesse, etc. Ranger isn't a particularly good choice, as the feats the class gets don't really help with a parry build, so you'll get more out of the bonus fighter feats. You might want to also pick up a few rogue levels (at least 3) for Uncanny Dodge and Evasion, plus you can toss some of the skill points you get into Tumble to improve your AC (every 5 ranks grants +1 AC).
I think parry is not a good choice too, at the begining you haven't enough point to be effective, and with a high level you can't parry enough attacks because there is generally too many attackers and they have more attacks per rounds than you can't parry or counterattacks than you can make.
therefore, if you play without parry you will finish your fights simply and faster mainly if you are surrounded. 1VS1 it can be effective (but from lvl 10~) but according to me in nwn 1 and 2 I always had less trouble and finish faster without parry activated.
