So what is the deal with resting in the Vale of Merdelain in NWN2? I've read guides that have said you can pull it off, and others that have said you can't. Anyone know which is correct?

Edit: Nevermind I eventually was able to rest.

Technically you CAN rest in the Vale of Merdelain (the final dungeon). It's just that the chances of you getting attacked by random encounters is nearly 100%, so it will fail nearly every single time. But fear not, there is a room right before the final battle where you can rest and replenish your spells.
