I read somewhere that all the updates has been released as free for owners of the game I just can't remember where can you?
Also for some reason my GOG game crashes on startup I read that it might be my amd card acting up where do I fix NVM

The gog.com version of NWN Diamond is fully patched up to the final version (1.69).

There are other upgrades that can be added, which are community-produced. I would check out the "Players" section of neverwinternights.info, and look for "game enhancements". There are many things about the game that can be improved and overridden by players, and then builders of single- and multi-player modules (adventures/servers) can, and often do, use even more community-made assets to upgrade the game.

Your thread-title is quite confusing in this instance. Kingmaker and Co. aren't updates, they are Premium Modules (or DLC if you will).
