Neverwinter Nights multiplayer was supported by Gamespy. When Gamespy went out of business, the only method for multiplayer was the direct connect function. There are websites that list still active servers, but you will need a unique cd key for your game. The generic key won't work if someone else is logged into that server with the same key.

I lived on NWN from launch until around 2009. It was a fantastic game who's life was shortened due to Gamespy's closure.

Thanks i see.can you give some of this sites for exampe?
Im having a hard time setting this up. I have portforwarded to ports 5121, tcp/udp and yet when i set up the game, it asks me which campaign module, i choose the neverwinter campaign and then when it asks me what character i wanna choose, either premade or make my own, it tries connecting to the server which then times out and i cant do anything :/

Have you also allowed it through your firewall?

Another thing worth mentioning (as I have seen it many times) is that if your LAN IP address is not set to static then it may break your port forwarding rules if the IP changes.
I try to connect but the game tell me client e server dont match. Someone help me?
