StAlexander: I have Ati Radeon HD 4850 512mb graphic card
Intel core 2 duo E 7400 2.8 ghz
4 gb ram
Running it on Win 7 with latest ATI drivers (11.6)
The problem is that frame rate drops and slows down Geralt on uber settings (uber sampling off), and i'm not quite sure why.
Now, i read recommended requirements and it says that my card is recommended (though with 1 gb memory), and quad core intel or AMD (which i don't have), but i'm not sure if that is important. Can somebody tell me if it is my hardware because i heard that some guys with far more better cards and CPUs have similar frame rate drops and lags, or if it is game related?

cjrgreen: Everybody gets frame rate drops once in a while with this game. They'll be worse if you are around the limit of the settings your hardware can support.

A 512MB card, even a fast one like a 4850, is not exempt. And the E7400 is only a middle-of-the-road Core 2 Duo.

I'd say satisfactory performance on Ultra with that setup is a pleasant surprise; High would be more suited to it.
