Hi.

I'm trying to download and install the DLC packs with the launcher, but it fails every time. All it says is "Error writing file. Retrying in 10 seconds.". I have selected every DLC from the "Downloadable content" tab to be downloaded and I've tried to run the patcher.exe to reset the launcher but nothing seems to help.

Does anyone have any advice? I'm using windows 7 64-bit and running as administrator has no effect. The version of the game is of course the GoG version.

C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Witcher 2\Downloads is a read-only directory and changing that has no effect since launcher always changes it back. But so is the savegame directory and I have no problems saving the game so I don't think this is the problem.

I got it working now, just do what this post says to remove old downloads and try again:
