I've been playing fine I got to chapter 2 then when I turned off my computer and went to sleep this morning I tried to play it again but when I try to open the launcher NOTHING HAPPENS

nope not even

I seem to be having a somewhat similar problem. I was playing the game fine for many hours but now whenever I try loading it up it goes into the game plays the intro movies and then crashes back to my desktop with no error message or any other indicator that anything has gone wrong.

I've tried reinstalling several times as well as disabling UAC/firewall/antivirus. I also reinstalled the plethora of visual C nonsense and did a clean install of my graphics drivers and this still happens every time I try and start the game. I'm gonna try downloading the installation files again and giving that a go but I'm not optimistic as the integrity check doesn't seem to pick up any errors.

Edit: Yeah well that didn't work I'm now out of ideas short of a complete reformat which I don't plan on doing.

Happened to me but I just tried again a few minutes later I think, or maybe restarted.
