What additional game content does the future hold for The Witcher 2 ?
I realise a patch and the console versions are being worked on... but I was wondering what future expansions, DLC etc are on the cards. Whats known, what are the rumours and what is peoples wishlist?
Lots of people are talking about a Witcher 3 but the engine and game is already so great I'm just keen for more content and this world to get more.

I'm hoping for a Chapter 4 expansion where we travel to Nilfgaard and the oncoming war, get involved in some covert activities and influence the political machinations of that war - do we want to make sure the war happens or avoid it?. All while looking for Yennifer, with a worried Triss in tow, The Wild Hunt and learning about ourselves and the other Witchers school.
A scene of a full blown battle with the Witcher in a general's role so we're not in amongst the action but relay instructions and strategise troop placements.
I think there could be great story elements based on our final decisions in the game... did we let Letho live, did we save Triss and Saskia - these could all have drastic and climactic impacts.
Actually, now that I think on it that could well be a few chapters. Either way I hope we get this next chapter as an expansion soon rather than wait another several years for Witcher 3.
Not only is W2 one of the greatest games I've ever played, but it was exceptionally good value with it's massive packaging (and still lower than more new release games in Australia) - I'd very happily pay top dollar for more!!!
