Well, almost two weeks of playing 3-6 hours a day, and I finally just finished the game. WOW!!!! This is BY FAR the best game i've ever played. For all the whining and moaning about how short the game is, and how unsatisfying the ending is, I just don't get it. Maybe it's just the ending that I got, but I didn't notice any unfinished plot threads, and the game is perfectly setup for a sequel.

I am getting ready to play W1 again so I have a new savegame to import. But I just had to express my thoughts. Is there anyone else out there who actually thought the ending was good? I get that the 3rd chapter and epilogue were shorter, but they certainly did not feel incomplete.

The only part of the ending that peeved me was I didn't really get to see off Dandelion and Zoltan.

What happened to them? Did I miss something?

I also think the lack of an ending cutscene (like the first when Dandelion recaps your adventure) made many feel the game lacked proper closure.

I didn't get anything with Dandelion and Zoltan, but I didnt' feel like I needed to. Geralt simply walking away battered with the people he walked away with felt....sombre, and complete.

I was satisfied with my ending also; and am intrigued by the fact that they gave you choices that could affect the story of a sequel even up to the end. Also intrigued by the prospect of future DLC.

I wish the third chapter was longer, like many I'm sure, but i also understood why it had to be. I love every part of the ending. I also loved that I was still making epic decisions all the way to the very end. Made it feel like more like "my" game than any other game I previously played. I still think fondly about my first playthrough. :-)

I absolutely loved the game too and and I agree that it's perfectly setup story wise for at least a good expansion set, if not a sequel.
