OK, I searched first and couldn't find anything so here's my problem.

I cut off all four tentacles, and took a ride on the fifth. LMB to fill the bar, and he drops me off.

No bridge collapses, no rocks flying. I hear the dialog between the sorceress and Geralt about what a great victory it was and she's going to gather parts and I'm stuck there with a flailing Kayran that repeatedly picks me up and drops me off.

Any suggestions? I really don't feel like starting over.

The fight lasts about 3 whole minutes since you already know what to do.

What's the problem with starting over if you've encountered a bug?

Seems like a bug to me.

Anyway you just need to cut off 3 tentacles before you can take the joy ride.

I know what you mean by not wanting to repeat it though.

Did you turn difficult QTE off?

I redid it. It was just a real PITA because it took so many tries to get there and then to have it screw me over was not fun. The camera sensitvity makes combat annoying. I've tried every tweak I could find for that and it's tolerable now, but still not as good as is should be, IMO.
