Hey guys.

Tthe problem is with the quest HUNTING MAGIC.. The quest objective is still stuck at "Speak to Phillipa" even though i've got the crystal thing from the harpies nest in the forest..


In the "Where is Triss Merigold" quest, ive got the bandana from the she troll and have to go back to speak to phillipa but the door of her house is barred by the 2 guards( on account of the hunting magic glitch?)

ive already completed the quest with the succubi & subterannean life quest..

all other quests are "waiting for events to unfold"

as you can see, i have no way forward because the triss merigold quest now sends me to speak to phillipa who's house i cannot enter.

I checked my saved games and in order to fix this( i.e no scoiatael barring the entrance to phillipa's house) i'll have to replay quite a bit of the game again (do the succubi +triss merigold + hunting magic upto crystal in harpies den part and a bunch of small side quests like arm wrestling etc)

So basically can anyone help me by upload their saved game where they have reached the same point as me in the "Where is Triss Merigold" quest?

Operating based on memory, here, but I seem to remember you having to speak to Phillipa after getting that crystal.

Pretty sure her house isn't the one with the guards, by the way. I don't think your game is glitched at all; you probably just have to look around for Phillipa's house.

No im certain its phillipa's house .. there are 2 scoiatael guards who bar the way & keep saying " None but Phillipa Eilhart may enter" . and from checking the online walk through for hunting magic quest.. when you pick up the crystal from the harpies nest, the quest objective is not "talk to phillipa eilhart" as it was for me. The location of the Harpies nest is even marked on the minimap as it wasnt for me.

i do have to speak to phillipa eilhart again after collecting the crystal but the quest hasnt updated itself since the first time i spoke to her.. the house is probably unguarded in the normal flow of events but maybe its now barred because of this issue?

its the inability to enter phillipa's house because of this which is preventing me from going forward.. as i mentioned earlier, even the " where is triss" quest now sends me back to speak to phillipa.
