Hi,

Does anyone know if this is a patch or a completly new version that will need a full game redownload?

The reason for the query is that it is referred to as version 2 and not as a patch or update.

I have been too busy recently to get any farther than exploring flotsam so I'm considering waiting and starting over again with version 2 if the changes are as major as G.O.G. seems to be suggesting.

I doubt you'll have to download the whole game again, but it'll probably be a lot of content.

As far as I know, they're adding a better tutorial, adding an arena challenge map where you take on countless waves of enemies and get ranked on a leaderboard, and a new, harder difficulty level that actually changes the game a little (different items -- possibly more?).
