During the training for the Tourney namely the horse riding phase, Roach just stands there unable to move at all.
Secondly despite complete renovating the house at the vine yard, the book case in the cellar is still there, meaning I'm unable to break the wall down in order to gain access to the Alchemy Lab behind it.
Also despite purchasing the Armour's table and Grind stone, they've not appeared

Roach not moving during the "training" phase seems to be common and the only solution I have seen thus far is to return to an earlier save and pick the choice to go straight to the tourney without training.

As far as the renovation issue - you must wait for 3 days for all the parts of the 1st renovation to complete before going back to Majordomo to start the 2nd set. Some have reported that it will also glitch if you fast travel to another area (Velen, or Novigrad, for example) - so stay in Toussaint while you are waiting.
