Has anyone else noticed no increase in sword DPS after equipping an attack power runestone?

I know they were supposed to have fixed this, and I have three greater runestones that read +5% attack power, but equipping them on a sword resulted in no increase in my DPS. (I am running a mod that fixes crafting runes for lower level runestones, but this mod's workaround theoretically does not affect the higher level runestone. Wondering if it did.)

I have noticed the same thing....but I am not sure if the attack power is suppose to increase our dps....using a specific oil on the sword increases attack power to certain enemies, however I do not see DPS increase there either...

It would be nice to know if this is a bug or what exactly does attack power do...

Thanks for the info. Nice to know its not just me.

Attack power in the mutagen menu does increase DPS, I believe, and the runestones were bugged before and read +0% to attack power. So right now I am feeling it is a bug.

I assume you aren't using any mods that would affect the runestones?

Edit: spelling.

Mutagens are still bugged, in that if you re-load, come out of a cut scene or fast travel, etc. all bonuses are squashed. Try removing your mutagens and replacing them again. Your stats should re-calculate. I have not noticed what you mention, but I do make a habit of doing the above.

Yeah, I saw that too and I change out my mutagens before a tough fight. I noticed that loading wouldn't completely deplete the mutagen bonus, but it would cut it in half. For instance, my sign bonus which should be +40% was only +20% after loading without a change out.

Edit: To be clear original post is about runestones, not mutagens.

Try drawing the sword.
They are bugged as they should apply to the sword (drawn or not) and only that sword...

Currently they are ignored on sheathed swords and calculated on both swords if they are present on the equipped one.

(Not a problem as they are discounted again when you switch to the one which doesn't have them).

Well look at that. The DPS activates on draw - lol. My bad, I guess this is a total non-issue. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah, I see what you mean... and no-I am not using any mods...
Does anyone know how DPS is calculated?
I figure it must be some kind of weighted average of Fast style and Strong Style.

Also, it does not appear to correctly take into account the effect of potions. If I drink a superior thunderbolt potion (gives 100% chance of a critical hit) my DPS is less than my critical hit damage
