I noticed after downloading GoG Galaxy and Witcher 3 GOTY on my laptop, is that when I used the cloud sync to get my save files, it copied the save files and the game settings files (like graphics and stuff).

After testing how witcher 3 was running on my laptop and after putting the settings down to low/medium I then saved and exited (didn't really advance that much) then when I went on my desktop to play it, I got the thing about using local or cloud data, I decided to use cloud data since that I would figure be more updated.

Then I noticed my game looked kind of off, then when looking at my graphical settings I noticed that all my settings were set to the same low/medium on my laptop?

I am wondering is there a way to make it so the only thing that is sync is the save files and not the graphic settings and the like, since it is annoying to have to keep changing my graphical settings when syncing the cloud saves when I swap between my desktop and laptop.

If I cannot do something like that how would I go about doing this, just disable cloud sync and then just do the old fashion way of transfering the saves via USB between the desktop and laptop?
cloud is not controlled by the user, so if gog chooses to ignore settings, then that's what it is. everything is in my documents under a folder called witcher 3

It's 2021 and I'm just discovering this problem myself. I hope a fix for this comes with the Enhanced Edition. Hardware and graphics settings really shouldn't be synced in the cloud.
