There is a respawning cocktrice in Fornhala(the abandoned village in Aar skellige,southwest of the map).
This level 20 cocktrice is east of the village,near the lake.

Nokturnalex: Well after riding all around Valen like a crackhead for about an hour or two, I finally found a spot.

A level 20 Cockatrice spawns near the location on the picture. It's northeast of Novigrad.

Where my character is standing (The Black arrow) not where the quest is pointing.
