If this is legit accross the board, then it just proves that statements like "This game was optimized for Nvidia technologies" is all just marketing hype from Nvidia. Here you have it folks, AMD cards are not crippled like some of you thought it would be, I'm confident that CDPR optimized this game well enough for both brands of GPUs.

Seems to be true, them having used CPU PhysX was a good indicator.
If this link is to be believed I'll be able to play The Witcher 3 on high/ultraish 1080p with at least 30 fps or more...

Thank you very much for the good news! :)
Good News: My Sapphire R9 290x is not too shabby...
Bad News: Won't run with my rig as I only have a 6x1/6+2x1 connecters for my PSU (Thermaltake TR2 RX 750w)..
Worse News: I only have a 2 gig Sapphire 6950 flashed to 6970..
I have Sapphire R9 280, no x :(

Worst mistake of my life. Should've coughed up more $ and got the 980 <_>

I guess it's medium settings for me :<
Bummer they don't have more cards out there. I have a 760 4GB (will be upgrading soon) which I am hoping will fall somewhere between the 770 2GB and the 780TI 3GB? Any best guesses from anyone?
is the same link i posted yesterday but updated.
Now, as you can see, the real racc sys req, to play in a way that use the great work they have done, are:

R9 290 / 290 x or GTX 970 / 980 / TITAN

Question: but what do i do with my 770 2 GB?

Answer: think to the amount of money you can save on your electric bill with a 970 that use 140 w instead of a 770 that use 240 w and don't forget DX 12 ready

Edit. possible answer to users with old & low GPU:

if you live on a high floor you can throw the card from the window, if you live in a sigle home or a low floor you must ask to a friend that live on a higher floor.
