Do I get a GOG key with the retail version? I was one of the lucky guys who pre-ordered the CE more than a year ago on amazon.de. The thing is, since I'm used to buy steam/origin games only I don't have a DVD drive anymore on my PC so I can't install it with the DVD's that come with the CE :(.

oh crap. I have no idea. Still worse case you could likely find a very cheap dvd drive to put in your puter.

Yes, you get one in the retail box. From the FAQ:

Q: What is the GOG.com game code found in the box used for?
The game code grants you access to a digital backup copy of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on GOG.com. You will also receive full software support, i.e. future updates, as well as all the additional content like the 16 Free DLCs, the FLAC & MP3 soundtrack, comics, wallpapers, art book, all voice over packs and more.

I'm hating you so much right now!! I went after one of those so hard and couldn't get one. I initially pre-ordered mine through Game in the UK and was then later told that they were deliberately over selling them to get the deposits, which were non refundable. If they can't supply the preorder they give you a gift card for the deposit, rather than your money back. So essentially they're making huge amounts of money immorally. Once i learnt that i swore never to buy from them again.

Course by then they were sold out on Amazon as well :(

I really wish publishers would stop supplying games to stores that deliberately oversell games to rip off fans. But i also wish they'd produce more of the collectors editions. My local Game apparently has over 400 preorders for collectors eds, but are only getting 5.
