I am trying to preload the Witcher 3 and other than using the browser links i cant do it any other way!

When i try to use the GOG downloader it just instantly says the download is complete without downloading anything (it does make a folder name 'the_witcher_3_wild_hunt' in my downloads folder though).

When I try to download visa GOG Galaxy is says 'game not supported' once I accept the terms and conditions?!

Using the browser download links is fine but it is slooooooooooooow!

Now that's strange... I could start the preload both on GOG Galaxy and GOG downloader, and I sticked to the second one. Maybe you should contact support, GOG Galaxy may have some bugs after all.

It appears to be due to my location. I am currently visiting family in china and when i try to download via a VPN it works no problem.

Hey guys, how much space is occupying your game folder? I'm asking this because some people says they downloaded more than 30 GB, while the size of my folder isn't more than 25 GB...

Mine shows 21ish, but I also have an issue with my pre-download. When I started the computer up after downloading, it told me my files were corrupted and when I try to do a check on the files, it says I don't have enough space (But I have 1.68 TB free).

After trying to preload for half a day via browser the downlaods have stopped and wont restart..........

my game folder size is 24.5gb

I had a weird glitch with Downloader yesterday. It planned to download around 30 GB. I paused it at around 15, and today when I resumed it the total size became 22 GB. So it's around 22 GB for installer and 24.5 GB for game directory.

No issues here, pre-loading at 13.5 MBps (bytes, not bits). Great performance for such a high profile game! Not even Steam delivers such great download speeds on a a nre release.

Don't think there are too many who downloaded the entire thing in less than 2 minutes as you have.

My download size for the pre-installation files is 21.9GB

only took me around 15mins or so to DL it on my 8MB connection using the downloader, but it took an hour to install lol. Or atleast the timer on the installation fill said it would take 55mins, so i set it off and went to the store

Of course it didn't download in under 2 mins, I was just saying that GOG's network performance was working top notch with a high profile game. Maybe the OP's problem is with ISP.

Could only download part one of 7. The rest are bin files, is this a win 8.1 issue? Not sure what to do with the 6 bin files.

Mine grabbed 25GB but when I clicked verify it restarted it and now reads 28GB
Not impressed it just blew through 53GB of my bandwidth... I checked the WAN and it wasn't doing a file check it was re-downloading the entire game

You are not supposed to do anything with the bin files, just have them all in the same directory with the installer there (which should be a .exe file). Then you just run the installer and voila. If you have some troubles trying to download the files, use the GOG downlaoder.
