I'm trying to pre-load using the Galaxy Client on PC, but I just keep the message "Server Problem" in the top right of the screen. Other games install fine.

Any ideas or should I just use the GOG Downloader?

I would go for GOG downloader ofc if u have free bandwith just let it DL instead of w8ing for Galaxy

Yeah, Downloader is the best option for now. Once you've downloaded and installed the game, Galaxy will pick it up automatically.

Thanks guys... will stick with downloader for now then. Hope they iron out all the bugs with Galaxy as it's seems to be a step in the right direction with automatic updates and achievements... which is something that personally I would enjoy.

Getting a bit fed up with this. The Downloader got to about 400MB and then said "Checksum error at chunk44."

Strange, from what I remember from the past week you're the first who is having troubles with Downloader. It can be your connection, especially if it's wi-fi. As a last resort I'd recommend downloading directly from browser. Links to all 7 part you'll find on the game page on GOG site.

Think you're right about it being to do with connection as I can close the downloader and re-open and it continues from where it left off.

The chunk reference must refer to the amount downloaded, as when it got to 2.38GB it gave the same error but at chunk238.

It's a connection with an ethernet cable, not wi-fi... and it's pretty fast so not sure what's the matter with it..

Decided to persist with the Downloader and it's now got to 11 GB with no further problems, just the first two.

Good to know. Now I'm removing you from the list of displeased with Downloader and again it's nice and clean! ))
