does anybody know if i can play the preloaded game tonight without an internet connection/ Day-1-Patch?

I guess you can download it on another computer but I may be wrong.

When I click on the .exe present in my folder from Galaxy, it says: "Thank you for installing the pre download version... All you need to start is download and install the last small piece of the game available upon the game's release... This can be downloaded with GOG Galaxy, or manually from GOG.com"

Sooo... you're gonna need an internet connection to fulfil the installation...

is from heathrow on may 19 you go to CDPR with a usb maybe they give you the file to unlock.....

Can't you download it on a mobile phone or something?

I can't see any reason why you couldn't download the last file on a phone and then copy it to your PC. But, no one will know until the Witcher hour arrives...

If it can be done independently, then yeah, I bet it can be done.

You can do it this way, DL the last file from gog.com anywhere on any platform (phone, usb, ...) to unlock the game ,
actually that's what DRm-free means + that worked with the 2nd episode
