Hey, i want to play The Witcher 3 again, as GOTY-Edition this time and the game just won't start with the german voices. The cutscenes and the in game dialogue all are english, the text is german though. Changing the language to german in the settings doesnt do anything. It's still in english even though the setting tells me its german.

I installed it with the offline installation files after Gog galaxy failed to do so, weirdly enough, when i finally started the game, the game first started my installation of gog galaxy.
Anyway, changing the language in gog galaxy rather than the game itself wont save at all. I can switch the game configuration -> installation files to german all i want, it's stuck on english. Gog galaxy tries to install smth but fails at abotu 94% telling me that it can't access my hard drive correctly.

Loading the offline pack of the german language patch tells me that "this patch does not support your version of the game please download a new installer"
...
I guess i shouldnt have patched the game to 1.32? Srsly, what the hell is.

If your gog client is in english language change it to german. Games like to automaticly start in the language of the client.

E.g. a friend of mine has the german client installed and the game is in german too (language+subs). My client is set on english and all my games are too.

This needs to be addressed.
My Galaxy settings are set to English. My preferred game language is set to English. I chose English as language when installing the game. goggame-info-File content states "language = English".

HUD, menues and subtitles are all in German (Windows is German).

I looked through all ini and xml-files but cannot find any other reference to language settings, except in redscripts-files which are binary, though.

Install the offline-installers in the following order: base game, language pack and patch 1.32. There is a discussion about this issue in the german forum.
Does this work for any language version?
Seriously, this is cumbersume and utterly wrong. it should be at least configurable or changable in a settings file.

You can change both, the text- and audio language inside the main menu of the game. select "Options" and then "Language".
Yes, you are absolutely right. It simply did not work for me at all. Another reinstall somehow helped.
