Don't use Galaxy, seems to be bugged for some reason. Download through the old downloader and you should get full speed (i did at least).

I'm Getting 4mb and that's about where I should be according to my internet speed not having any dl problems at all with galaxy

I had been having speeds of 0.1 and 0.2 MB/s since yesterday. You can try downloading the installer in the "download extras" section (Galaxy), it's working for me with a 12 MB/s.

2.3-3.1 mb/s as far as speed of the preload for Witcher 3.

I managed to download via Galaxy with no issues with average speed 1-1.5 MB/s. But at the moment using Downloader is preferable as it has pause/resume feature and it's polished in general. With Galaxy you can only cancel. And I don't know what will happen with partly downloaded files in case of a crash. Also most people claim to have better speed via Downloader.

Worst downloader ever, started at 5:30 last night, checked this morning at 6:00 (13 GB). I have road runner lighting should have only been 30 minutes at best. I left for work with machine still running, If it is still running when I get home, will probably not only delete the game load but also galaxy as well and use the old GOG downloader from scratch.

I was getting pretty good speeds with the downloader but I stopped it just to be sure it wasnt my internet or something. But if its not sorted by the weekend I think I'll just use the downloader.

Yeah same here, I was getting 1+mb/s, which is top speed for me, but now I am getting 0.1mb/s currently completed 77.8% of the preload, so don't really want to start again.

Have been pre-loading since yesterday when it first became available and left it on over night.
