Hi All,

I'm playing the game (PC) for years and I'm able to save it just fine. Now I have actually manually deleted some old saved games as the save list is getting too long - under my use profile - users\name\documents\The Witcher 3\gamesaves folder. After a days playing the game, the old saved games files that I have manually deleted comes back. I know this is Windows 10 feature, any idea how I can prevent this?

Thank you...
Most likely you haven't turned off the cloud sync option in Galaxy., which acts as a backup and restore function.

Thank you for your reply, I don't run Witcher 3 through galaxy. I run it through my desktop...I also noticed the same issue with Cyberpunk 2077 game though

Depending on how you installed the games the shortcut can be tied through Galaxy, just like Steam launcher does (something like steam://rungameid/) even via the shortcut on the desktop.

Only the offline installers will link directly the games .exe file, or if you manually created one.
Hi,

First of all, thank you for your reply...

I have installed for example the wither 3 on my D rive and the shortcut calls for "D:\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY\bin\x64\witcher3.exe"

As I mentioned before, I don't run Witcher 3 through galaxy. I do check once in a while in Galaxy if there is an update.

Sorry, if I'm missing something... For me Witcher 3 is my #1 RPG of all time, I just love the story.

Thanks again...
You were right, by turning-off the cloud settings in galaxy it fixed the problem. Thank you again for your kind help...
