I have not used it intentionally. No need. I just strafe or circle strafe. Is there are way to disable the double tap bullshit? Because I have triggered it accidentally at times when I didn't want to.read more

The Witcher 3 and RPGs

To all the people that think it's a true RPG it's not.
All "choices" that you think you make aren't really your choices. All the outcomes of each "choice" are already there. All you're doing is coming along and triggering the true or false condition.
The impact you think you're making isn't real. It's already been programmed to happen. It's a one (exist) or a zero (don't exist).
What you want isn't possible with the technology we have available now.
The way a character reacts to what you've done isn't dynamic. It's already there. They can be angry with you. They can be happy with you. They can be indifferent with you. They can not care what you've done. They can blackmail you. They can turn against you. Etc, etc. None of any of these is a choice created by you. Any one of them already exists. You are just coming along and triggering a 1 or a 0. The choice you make doesn't matter. There is no impact to be made. You cannot affect the world or characters in any way shape or form that hasn't already been programmed to happen.

"Removed the memory_pool_budgets.csv file. which was not connected with the final version of the game and had no influence on it (it was a leftover file used during the development to estimate memory usage. It had no effect on how much memory was actually allocated). Perceived performance increase after editing the file may have been related to restarting the game."
So basically the file is irrelevant? I edited the memory pool in the PC column. I know it gave me a bit of a boost. Less frames per second dropped. It was mostly in crowded areas.read more

What is causing the ghosting under the car? And on the side too.
I have ray tracing turned on. And ray traced lighting too.

Jittering

Whenever I close the inv menu, map, crafting, etc the game world becomes jittery. Will this be fixed in the next patch? It can happen at random too when getting in or out of a car. Or just seemingly at random. It's very disorienting and it's difficult to play like that.

Goodies free but not really

So they charged money for something that was already available for free. What sort of scam is that? I just wonder if the people that paid for these goodies are aware that they were alrady available for free two months prior to the game releasing?

Streamlabs OBS issue?

I have streamed the game since I started playing. But when I glanced over every now and again the game was skipping/warping on the preview window. But in the actualy game it wasn't doing it then. Is this a game issue or a Streamlabs OBS issue?read more

NPC sound too low

Sometimes when you talk to the NPCs that are walking around, etc their voice is so low it's no possible to understand what they said. Unless you look above their head at the subtitles. And why can't that be at HUD level. So many times I've had to look up to see what they said but when they are walking it's difficult to read what they say. It would be good if that text was bigger. Because it's so small. Please add an option to change that text size too.

Cannot select radio station

I found that it's not possible. The menu comes up with the list of stations. But when I press F to select one nothing happens. And I just close it.
Also when the radio was first on I could barely hear it.read more

Walking vs running

I've seen people say they can't walk. Yet the default speed is walking. You have to press run to run. Yet there are mods for this lol? Serioulsy. The function to run or walk is already in the game. No mod needed.read more
