OverKill
OverKillOverkill is a vertical scrolling shooter that was released by Epic Games and Precision Software Publishing in 1992. The game was designed and developed by Tech-Noir Productions and Ste Cork. Overkill was Epic's first vertical shooter. The game was lacking some of the technology that other top shareware games of the time had, such as Jill of the Jungle, ID Software's Commander Keen, and Apogee's Duke Nukem. It boasted EGA graphics, PC speaker sound effects, support for a joystick, and a General MIDI musical track. While the game did sell a considerable amount of copies, it was quickly overshadowed by later vertical shooters such as Raptor: Call of the Shadows, Major Stryker, and Tyrian. There are two versions of the game, the shareware version, and the commercial version. The shareware version allows the user to play planets one and two, while the commercial version grants access to all six planets. As of July 23, 2008 the game is available as freeware.

Matt Hazard: Blood Bath and Beyond
Matt Hazard: Blood Bath and BeyondMatt Hazard: Blood Bath and Beyond is designed as a 2D side scroller in order to give it a retro feel. You once again take on the role of Matt Hazard, parodying gaming clichés. In order to stop the evil Marathon MegaCorp from consigning Matt to certain death, he must travel back in time to stop them. In order to deal with the minions of Marathon, Matt will have an arsenal of standard weapons at his disposal that includes shotguns, plasma rifles, flamethrowers and grenades, which can be upgraded as the game progresses, you will also be able to find various power ups that will aid Matt's quest. The shoulder buttons also allow you to enter the precision aim mode, which allows you to conserve your limited ammunition. There is a two player co-op mode available, in which the second player assumes the role of Matt's partner, Dexter Dare.

Tau Ceti
Tau CetiHumanity has spread out and colonised nearby star systems but a plague in 2150 led to the colonies being abandoned and left to their automated robotic maintenance systems. While several of these colonies have been successfully re-inhabited, the colony on the planet Tau Ceti III (orbiting the star Tau Ceti) has been uncontactable since a meteor smashed into the planet. A mission sent to Tau Ceti III in 2164 landed on the planet but broadcast a mayday message followed by silence. Experts decided that the planet's robots were running amok as a result of the meteorite impact. The only chance, it was decided, of successfully stopping the defence systems without destroying the cities already there is to send a single pilot in an armoured Gal-Corp skimmer to the planet's surface with the task of shutting-down the central reactor in Tau Ceti III's capital, Centralis.

Crimson Skies
Crimson SkiesThe series is set within an alternate history of the 1930s invented by Weisman and McCoy. Within this divergent timeline, the United States has collapsed, and air travel has become the most popular mode of transportation in North America; as a result, air pirates thrive in the world of Crimson Skies. In describing the concept of Crimson Skies, Jordan Weisman stated he wanted to "take the idea of 16th century Caribbean piracy and translate into a 1930s American setting."
