In the seventh day Kavinsky appeared in my dreams and said "Cyrapt, you have done good but this is not enough, you need to show to the goggers the passion for the music", so here i am and to show you guys the way im going to share some artists and some of the music they do (with some random comment here and there).

Kavinsky - I guess the majority of you will recognize him from the movie drive because of he music Nightcall;

Perturbator - Future Club, you can get his new album from Bandcamp and he was nice enough to let you decide how much you want to pay for it (well, i suppose it's free if you want to);

Dance with the Dead - Moon runner - This guys are my favourite, they released their new album last month;

Barretso - Mirage

LazerHawk - King of the Streets. Goddamn this is so good for racing moments, king of the streets indeed.

NightCrawler - Road Blaster With a little touch from Dynatron...

PowerGlove - Streets of 2043;

Technoir24 - Strange Days;

Noir Deco - Charged and Ready - *WARNING VIDEO IS NSFW*

Dynatron - Pulse Power;

Nemix - Upheaval

Pilotpriest - Land of Confusion - A nice... cover? Anyway, props to my brother of synt sunshinecorp for introducing them to me;

Mitch Murder - Interceptor Third time that i say this but this video is really rad;

Night Runner - The Sentinels;

Le Cassette - Tokyo Blues - This guys are good for a nostalgia trip, highly recommended;

Carpenter Brut - Escape from Midwich Valley - This music was on the new trailer for Hotline Miami 2 (5.00 fowards +/-);

Mega Drive - Crimewave.

Vangelis = Aphrodite's Child = MASTERPIECE!!!

But then that was from the 70s, not 80s.

Do you get VH1 Classic? A couple of times a week they air their own version of 120 Minutes (unfortunately at 4 am!) and the show is usually loaded with New Order, Erasure, Ultravox, and countless others. The other night they showed some really cool Thomas Dolby concert stuff.

Oh interesting. I didn't realize that VH1 even played music videos anymore. Man, I don't have any TV stations, that actually sounds pretty cool.

It's not VH1, it's "VH1 Classic". I don't think the original VH1 plays videos anymore either.

Speaking of which I guess I should actually contribute a song to the thread since I'm hogging it. :P

Alphaville - Big in Japan
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tl6u2NASUzU
OMD - Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark. Their latest cd, "English Electric", is a perfect mix of 80's sound with a little bit of Kraftwerk thrown in.

I always thought Red Flag and Anything Box were highly underrated.
imagine, if you will, the pet shop boys and new order getting together to make a record.

that was "electronic."

[unfortunately, the pet shop boys aren't on all the songs, but on the handful of songs where they do appear, it'll basically blow your mind] - my favourite song from their first album is "patience of a saint":

New Order- True Faith
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzeNAUOp17c

When In Rome- The Promise
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwGeMYBGffs

Any Pet Shop Boys

Tears for Fears- Mad World
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gFl2OXySs8

B'z- Bad Communication (I wish I could find the actual version of this song, this is the best I could do for you. Try to find the single if you can, it's amazing.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcisOdy3YuY

Camouflage- The Great Commandment
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anWILW5_llM

There's plenty more, I'll have to come back once I've thought of them.
