Well, if there are, get your butts over to ModDB and download the KILLER APP 1.1 mod. The mod triumphantly returned a couple of weeks ago after an absence of what seems like forever (some kind of mod drama forced the it to be pulled a while back). In addition to incorporating elements from the Xbox port of TRON 2.0, the mod also adds all kinds of multiplayer extras and... get this... 16:9 and 16:10 widescreen support! The really cool part is, the method discovered to add the widescreen support to this game can be used to add the same support to other LithTech 2.5 games, such as the NOLF games.
Cool! Thanks for the heads up. I just picked this game up a few weeks ago.
Nice. I still have it on my hard drive from replaying it a couple of months back. The "Tron: Legacy" trailer got the Tron nostalgia juices flowing. I own the xbox version also. Although the killer app mod is definitely the way to play it nowadays, you could also hand-set widescreen with retail version as well.
Here is the intro for reference and those who may not be familiar with the game. Definitely one of the best of monolith's games and movie spin-offs.

That stretches it though. Only a little better than letting the drivers do that for you.
Brilliant! I recently reinstalled it to play the User Error mod (which I found too difficult to be enjoyable by the way). I gotta give this a try.
Do they sell the game digitally? I'd love to be all up in this. I played the demo a long time ago, and have always been a fan of Monolith's games.

Nope. Buena Vista Interactive (Disney) basically dropped support for the game immediately after release and have showed no interest in trying to market it again. You can still occasionally find it on store shelves, though.
My dad is a huge fan of this (I have no clue whatsoever why) but I'll snag his copy and check it out.
I played a demo of it a long time ago and liked it, but never found it for sale. I'll probably get around to picking it up one of these days.
That said, I still haven't watched TRON all the way through...(someone in #GOG gave me a link, only for me to find out the hard way that Megavideo has time limits!)

Well great. I have my 3 games installed that I am supposed to play to not spread my attention too thin, and yet you make me play this. You are an evil person and should be punished.
Also, that intro is awesome.
Didn't know about this mod, must check it out soon as I have yet to play Tron 2.0 (I have it but its been down my queue of games to play)

Thanks

Oooh, you're in for a treat :-)
If anyone has any difficulty with the mod, I've written a troubleshooting guide.

I'm not allowed to post links yet. So just Google "tronfaq", click the first result, and then near the top of the page you'll see a "Troubleshooting Guide" link. There's also a link to it on ModDB.

I'm working on v1.2, which will have a lot of improvements. But it's still months away. Previews on my Youtube channel. Again, I can't post links. But if you visit the LDSO site, there's a button linking to the Youtube channel.
Cool! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tron_2.0

I really enjoyed Tron 2.0 many years ago. (Is it almost 10 years old now?)

And the fact that it helps NOLF is also really cool; when that finally comes to GOG, maybe they could incorporate it.

Indeed. I have NOLF but have never played it as the machine that had 98 on it wasn't good enough, and since then I've used XP and NOLF didn't seem to like it. I've been hoping for a long time that NOLF 1 & 2 would appear here one day.
